Our second floor office space is framed and being built out.  Here is our first tour as a group.  I definitely need to up my commentating and interview skills!  We were in a lighthearted mood after signing leases and making some key financial decisions.

I don't think any of us knew what we were getting ourselves into two years ago when Kristy Judd distributed the Denver Shared Space Project's cohort application.  The five executive leaders - Renny Fagan (Colorado Nonprofit Association), Melinda Higgs (Colorado Nonprofit Development Center), Carol Nickell (Community Resource Center), Kristy Judd (Metro Volunteers), and me (Alyssa Kopf with Community Shares of Colorado) - shared a healthy does of optimistic interest and the abundance of naivete needed to embark on this type of adventure.

Two years later, construction has begun on our new shared office space at 789 Sherman in Denver.  As we build out our new center for nonprofit collaboration, this site will include thoughts from those involved with the project, photos of the progress, and highlights of the people and organizations making this possible.
